Macy's Column, September 2001

I hope you've had lovely holidays. I have spent the summer in my country house in Oxfordshire as well as trips to the Mediterranean.

I've had so much fan mail to catch up with on my return that I've only just got round to updating you all with my news. People have been begging me for this latest issue. I thought I'd share with you some of the lovely comments I have received. Here's a random selection:

Well I was intrigued and have since met this lovely chap. He is a little rough but we don't mind that at the right time - do we? Dear Barry has taken me for drive in his lovely sporty car and he even has a motorbike as well. I like him in his leathers.

And then I was invited to patronise a local restaurant in EC1M called Tinseltown. They had tried getting reviews from the likes of Vinnie Jones, Ali G, Kylie Minogue, Fat Boy Slim, Victoria Beckham, Robbie Williams and Craig David, but those trailer trash weren't really doing it for them.

Well after significant discussions on appearance fees, I did venture down to St John Street and try the various delicacies on offer. It is true, the milkshakes are superb - I particularly liked the Mars Bar Chocolate Shake. The chicken wings were tasty too.
